FLIP (Youth Group)
FLIP stands for Friendships based on love, Learning from God's word, Introducing Jesus to your friends, Praying together.
FLIP is a youth group for youth of high school age. We have activites like rock climbing and scavenger hunts once a fortnight on Fridays and meet weekly in smaller groups to study the bible and catch up with how people are going and answer their questions about God. FLIP is about encouraging and equipping young people to have a relationship with God and keep learning more about Him.
Home Groups
Home groups are small groups of people from the church who meet regularly during the week in people's homes. The goal of homegroups is for members to encourage each other to grow in their relationship with Christ. Homegroup members do this by helping each other understand and apply God's bible, praying for each other, building a loving community and serving each other in different ways. Homegroup activities include things like: sharing meals together, weekend camps away, movie nights and church or community projects.
Christian Union
Our evening congregation includes a number of tertiary students who are involved in the Christian Union (member group of the AFES) at their respective universities.
During the semester, there are regular bible talks, social activites, camps, and training sessions that take place at LaTrobe and RMIT Bundoora campuses that are appropriate for tertiary and TAFE students. For more information about the:
