FLIP (Youth Group)
FLIP stands for Friendships based on love, Learning from God's word, Introducing Jesus to your friends, Praying together.
FLIP is a youth group for youth of high school age. We have activites like rock climbing and scavenger hunts once a fortnight on Fridays and meet weekly in smaller groups to study the bible and catch up with how people are going and answer their questions about God. FLIP is about encouraging and equipping young people to have a relationship with God and keep learning more about Him.
Growth Groups
These are groups of people from the church who meet regularly during the week in homes and other places with the common purpose of encouraging each other to grow in their relationship with Christ. Growth Group members do this by helping each other understand and apply God's bible, praying for each other, building a loving community and serving each other in different ways like: sharing meals together, weekend camps away, movie nights and church or community projects.
Mainly Music
Mainly music is a fun, interactive music session for young children and their parents/caregivers with morning tea provided. Children are introduced to music, creativity and more. Through the use of music, rhythm and rhyme, children develop skills such as co-ordination, gross and fine motor movement, language, imagination, mathematical and pre-reading skills as well as social interaction. Families are also given a chance to think about the God-part of life, all in a loving shared family environment. The program is run weekly on Wednesday mornings (following the school calendar year).
