Bundoora Presbyterian Church's adventure-filled, friendship-building, spirit-deepening, sleep-depriving annual church camp is back!
This camp will run from 7pm Friday Feb 12 to 2pm Sunday Feb 14 and is generally targeted to the evening congregation, althought the morning congregation is also welcome too! So sign up early and join us at Camp Wilkin in beautiful Anglesea for a weekend of chilling out, awesome teaching and heaps of fun!
The Festivals of God
Mystical rituals, spiritual celebrations or just another excuse to party? This year we'll be exporing three big festivals in the Old Testament - The Passover, The Day of Atonement and the Feast of the Purim - looking at what they mean, why God set them up and how they're relevent to us today.
Our guest speaker is Martin Pakula, who is well equipped to guide us through this topic due to his expertise as an Old Testament lecturer at the Bible College of Victoria, his Masters of Theology on Biblical Theology and the Feast of Tabernacles, as well as his own personal experience being brought up in a Jewish family.
This year, Bundy Camp is at a new location - Camp Wilkin in Anglesea, a fantastic venue run by the Baptist Union of Victoria. The camp property covers around 6.5 hectares and is walking distance to the main surf beach in Anglesea. It is comfortable, relaxing and fully catered and also offers fun activities such as canoeing, ropes course, flying fox, archery, beach volleyball and lots more!
